As a Senior Electronic Engineering Technician you will build, test, validate, and trouble-shoot electronic and power circuits used in the company’s battery charging and monitoring products.

The company is launching a number of innovative products including the Switch Always On, a smart DC micropower supply designed to provide uninterrupted power and connectivity for networking devices, IoTAh, an IoT Forklift Truck Monitor, and the IoTEmeter, an IoT Power & Energy Meter.
Responsibilities and duties include:
- Build and assemble hardware prototypes of electronic and power circuits
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to troubleshoot and repair electronic and power circuits
- Use various lab and test equipment to perform component and board level testing, trouble-shooting, and repair of electronic and power circuits
- Perform different types of testing (thermal, power usage,..etc) and document test results
- Perform various documentation tasks including generating test reports, updating BOMs, and searching for electronic components
- Perform other duties and tasks assigned in a professional manner
- Proficiency in testing electronic and power circuits
- Knowledge of analog and digital control circuits is required
- Working experience with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters) is a must
- Experience in power electronic circuits and supplies is preferred
- Ability to solder and assemble prototypes with minimal supervision
- Familiarity of embedded control systems
- Familiarity with Regulatory and Safety testing
- Proficiency in using of PC-based software programs such as MS Excel and Word
- Ability to work well under tight schedule
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, Electronics or other electronics related discipline, or the equivalent combination of work experience and skill development.
- A minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar field
