- Plan and prioritize shipments to meet customer needs and operational deadlines
- Supervise and train shipping team members, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
- Oversee the loading and unloading of shipments, and ensure proper handling of products
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve any shipping issues
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and regulations within the warehouse
- Optimize shipping processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Proven experience in a shipping or logistics role, with at least years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including domestic and international logistics
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and software
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
- Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
