Job Duties:
- Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, within the financial services sector.
- Utilize multiple ERP systems to efficiently record and track financial data in compliance with industry standards.
- Process and verify invoices, receipts, and other financial documents specific to the financial services industry.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts tailored to the financial services sector.
- Conduct tax preparation activities, staying updated on tax regulations and ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and provide necessary information for regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5 years' experience in an Accounting role within the financial services industry
- Proficiency in utilizing multiple ERP systems for efficient financial management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel being able to do pivot tables, and lookup functions at a minimum
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices within the financial services sector
- Ideal to have experience in tax preparation or an in-depth understanding of tax regulations
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
