Position Summary: Responsible for the point of purchase system, recording sales, pricing items, balancing, registers, and day end reporting procedures. Assists with training of new cashiers to ensure accuracy and consistency of service. Maintains a clean, organized, sanitary, and professional environment in dining areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Secures knowledge of items on the menu before the meal so that residents’ questions may be answered.
- Maintains serving area, items are labeled, rotated, and dated.
- Maintains bakery case, bagging cookies, and labeling of ice cream in the cases
- Refilling of coffee area, soda area, silverware, and napkins
- Complete uniform at all time, hairnet and gloves in use for food production
- Sanitizing solution is present and changed every two hours.
- Inspects all food orders for accuracy of the order, eye appeal, proper food temperatures, and garnishing before service to residents and guests.
- Monitors opening and closing duties of the dining area and checks cash register; checks servers for sanitation set up. Alerts managers when stocking duties are not completed
- Alerts supervisor to any food related area, compliments, complaints, usage, leftovers, and especially and resident issues.
- High school graduate or GED or 16 years of age
Schedule: Full-Time
7:00 AM- 3:00 PM Monday- Saturday
Location: 500 Providence Point
