Aurora Technologies, Inc. is a custom machine shop leading the industry in thermosets and thermoplastics.

We are looking to hire a Customer Service Manager to join our team.

Shift requirements:

  • Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Job Description:

  • Understand quality and customer service within company specification, goal and objectives
  • Comply with all safety and environmental rules and regulations; comply with internal ATI practices.
  • Support all 6S and lean initiatives
  • Manage and motivate a team to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction while implementing standards, policies, and procedures within the department
  • Monitor individual employees and department productivity to ensure department and company goals are achieved efficiently and regularly
  • Coordinate and assist with the appropriate department(s) and/or person(s) to ensure customer requests (expedites/changes) and needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Keep computer systems updated with accurate sales information
  • Pull, process and review/analyze daily reports as necessary
  • Communicate customer expectations to internal personnel
  • Respond to customer inquiries
  • Maintain a customer-oriented and polite demeanor while representing yourself professionally

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of organization flow chat within the company
  • Knowledge of resource allocation, leadership technique, and production methods
  • Ability to employ excellent interpersonal communication skills (both oral and written); speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and the evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as work processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledgeable with Windows operating system, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; excellent typing skills; have an advanced understanding of an ERP system
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to add and subtract real numbers
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and higher-level critical thinking to carry out various tasks; ability to deal with problems and make decisions involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Ability to work as a member of a team; must be able to motivate employees and encourage a positive working environment while amplifying productivity
  • Minimum requirement of high school diploma or GED equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
