Our client, a leading Energy Technology company, is seeking a highly motivated Engineering Technician to join their growing team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Technical Information Services department, supporting various engineering teams. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and a passion for contributing to a dynamic and innovative environment.
Job Title: Engineering Technician
Location: Painted Post, NY
Pay Range: $ 25-27/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform on-demand digitalization of data, including drawings and engineering data.
- Utilize Microsoft Office suite, scanning equipment, and PDF editors proficiently.
- Track, catalog, and communicate requests and progress.
- Conduct strategic mass digitization of data, ensuring continual scanning and progress reporting.
- Interpret indexes, maps of data, and rudimentary drawings effectively.
- Basic knowledge and experience in principles, procedures, work routines, and skills related to the field.
- 2-year vocational training with up to 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, scanning equipment, and PDF editors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
