- Improve client athletic performance, reduce injuries, and teach lifelong fitness and movement skills
- Communicate with members interested in training and assessing their needs in order to build an appropriate and customized program based on their goals and desires
- Remain people-oriented and focused on the true needs of clients in order to provide the best kind of care and growth
- Ensure you are familiar with the memberships and classes offered on site as well as clinic operations
- Establish and maintain a strength and conditioning program for all clients, devising training plans according to scientific principle and based on the needs of their physical capabilities
- Keep an organized and clean workout space that appropriately serves our facility and represents Ivy Rehab professionally
- Maintain a professional image when representing Ivy Rehab – in the gym or at community functions
- Follow policies, procedures, and plans for safe and professional operation of the facility
- Certification for personal training (A.C.E., N.A.S.M., etc.)
- Active CPR certification
- Liability insurance through Ivy Rehab or personally acquired
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and machines
- Dedication to exceptional patient care experience and customer service
- Outstanding time management and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with a drive to exceed patient expectations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts and possible weekends
