Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to work under the supervision of a pharmacist to dispense prescription and over the counter medications. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

  • Maintain medication inventory, storage, and security as per regulatory requirements throughout the organization.
  • Accurately prepares and maintains required documentation logs, work records, and safety checks.
  • Interact in person and by phone with hospital personnel.
  • Perform basic billing functions.
  • Accurately performs required calculations.
  • Accurately and safely compounds and labels medications and parenteral admixtures.
  • Accurately packages and prepares medications for dispensing as assigned.
  • Accurately transports medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Hospital pharmacy experience is preferred
  • National Certification (CPhT) preferred
  • Active Registered Pharmacy Technician, as per state requirements, in good standing with appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
