WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center is Hiring a Radiology Tech Near Parkersburg, WV
The Staff Technologist performs radiographic exams on in-patients, out-patients, and emergency room patients.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
- Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Must have West Virginia State Licensure and ARRT.
- CPR certification required.
- Responsible for performing radiographic examinations on in-patients, out-patients and emergency room patients.
- Responsible for instructing patients and staff regarding correct procedures and preparation for those procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining readiness of x-ray rooms.
- Responsible for assisting radiologist in performing diagnostic examinations.
- Responsible for performing quality control duties as scheduled.
- Responsible for practicing good radiation protection.
- Responsible for operation CR system and making sure exams are sent to PACS for interpretation.
- Must be able to demonstrate clinical skills (i.e. catherizations, injection of contrast media, sterile techniques)
- Upon completion of exam, all paperwork is finished that deals with patient.

- Ability to be scheduled for work based on the operational needs of the hospital.
- Possess the ability to deal tactfully and harmoniously with guests.
- Basic computer knowledge in order to document effectively.
