**Job Summary:** We are currently looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing medical and administrative support in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical-surgical procedures, inhalation techniques, and supporting medical administrative tasks in various healthcare settings, including Level II and Level I Trauma Centers. **Responsibilities:** - Assist healthcare providers in conducting medical procedures and examinations. - Perform vital sign assessments and accurately record patient information. - Administer basic life support when necessary and assist in emergency medicine situations. - Support the coordination of patient care by scheduling appointments and managing medical records. - Ensure the proper functioning of medical equipment and systems. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care. - Uphold standards of patient confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times. **Skills:** - Proficiency in conducting vital signs assessments. - Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures and inhalation techniques. - Experience in providing medical administrative support, preferably in trauma center settings. - Familiarity with internal medicine practices and emergency medicine protocols. - Ability to operate medical equipment and systems effectively. - Strong communication skills to interact with patients, colleagues, and healthcare providers. - Competency in maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
