Job Description Summary
As a Manufacturing Engineer you will lead the design and development of manufacturing processes, tooling and equipment that meet all customer and company requirements. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure a quality product is produced safely, on time, and efficiency. This role requires a hands-on professional who is proficient in modern manufacturing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
Job Description
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
•Define and control production process, including tooling and equipment.
•Act as liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing.
•Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment (includes Manufacturing Engineers).
•Manage Tool and Process Development, working with Process Engineers and Manufacturing and Quality Departments, NPI Process Development and Documentation.
•Contribute to technological developments in teams under supervision.
•Work together with people from the business unit (contacts are under guidance and/or geared towards collecting or giving technical information)
•Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
•Utilize CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) to evaluate designs and production concepts.
•Develop, verify and validate production capable CNC programs using CAM software (such as NX and MasterCam) for 3, 4 and 5 axis machining centers.
•Work within a team setting and/or under guidance.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with complex data sets.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or other related technical field (OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Desired:
•Integrate 3D Printing into day-to-day manufacturing workflows to optimize existing processes.
•Hands-on experience with CMM technology and inspection principles.
•Ability to utilize CAD to create simple fixtures/jigs.
•Project management experience with the ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
•Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
•Continuous improvement mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
•Self-Motivated with the ability to work independently and be results driven.
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
•Robust Problem-Solving Skills.
Additional Eligibility Requirements:

The base pay range for this position is $89,800- $112,200 The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for 5 % performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.
*The company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120%, or 130% of salary in certain areas.
