We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team.
V-Tech Manufacturing Inc is a full-service precision machining, assembly and test facility located in the Central Valley. We offer prototyping and contract manufacturing for clients in a variety of medical, scientific instrumentation, semiconductor, and biomedical fields. We are ISO 9001:2015 certified for Precision Machining and Assembly operations, compliant with ISO 13485 for medical device manufacturing and ITAR Registered.
In this role you will be responsible for:
· Working with our Programming personnel creating and editing CNC programs for Vertical machining centers, Horizontal machining centers and 5 Axis with the use of MasterCAM software.
· Knowledgeable about set up of machines such as Brother and Matsuura
· Able to determine steps and operations to create custom parts as needed.
· Track and prioritize jobs through the shop to meet production deadlines.
· Must be detail oriented.
· Work with other departments in troubleshooting any issues that may arise during manufacturing.
· Knowledgeable in various methods of inspection to perform quality checks on the parts.
· Highly proficient in print reading
· Able to work quickly and efficiently with the need of supervision.
Qualifications for the role:
· Must be dependable, flexible, and self-motivated in a fast- paced environment.
· Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and people skills.
· In-depth knowledge and understanding of machine operations.
· Ability to recognize and address problems in the production process.
· Capable of designing fixtures that would yield repeatable and reproducible parts.
· Responsible for choosing the correct cutting tool.
· Support and assist setup personnel/ machine operators during production.
· Maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean work environment
Education:
· Must be familiar with cutting a wide variety of materials including various alloys, aluminum, steel, and plastic.
· 7 Years of experience CNC programming in Mastercam. Expert Level understanding of Mastercam is a requirement.
· Expert Proficiency in Blueprint Reading, GD&T, Inspection Tools & Methods.
