Payroll Supervisor- *LOCAL MN APPLICANTS ONLY*

Addison Group is working with a leading non-profit company looking for an experienced Payroll Supervisor to join their growing team!

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a multi-state environment with 1,000-2,000 employees. This role requires expertise in managing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, and supervising a team of 4 payroll specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team of 4 payroll specialists, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of bi-weekly payroll for employees across multiple states.
• Review and approve payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure accuracy of employee records.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws.
• Utilize UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) system to process payroll and generate reports for management review.
• Handle year-end payroll processes including W-2s and other tax-related documents.
• Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency in using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or similar payroll systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
