Job Overview:
Pharmacy Technicians play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care within the health center. This includes developing good relationships with patients and assisting the pharmacists in preparing and delivering prescription medication.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

High school degree or equivalent required

Valid RI Pharmacy Technician license

Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Certification preferred

Minimum of 2 years pharmacy technician related experience preferred

340B experience preferred

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Reliable transportation required

Bilingual ability in English and Spanish, Portuguese or Creole speaking abilities preferred

Cultural sensitivity necessary to work with a diverse patient and staff population required

Ability to work independently and collaboratively required

Knowledge of computers and electronic medical records required

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite preferred

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.38 - $30.63 per hour
