Contract Manager

The Contract Manager role is on the Product Development team. This position is responsible for contract negotiations with vendors directly and/or with the Global Contracting team to ensure rate, quality, pricing goals and deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete ownership of the add date process once requested by Inventory, including space requests, building tour components in operations system, rate and terms negotiation, and getting signed contracts.
  • Negotiate secondary contracts with new and existing vendors as needed where we do not currently have valid contracts.
  • Assist in contracting for open territories and assist Global Contracting Managers with attraction contracts for tour series as needed.
  • Review and audit all Global Contracting Manager agreements for accuracy, adherence to brand standards and acceptable terms and conditions before building in contract system and loading into shared files.
  • Work with new Global Contracting Managers as the go-to-person on contracting questions and assist with contracting their territory until they have become established.
  • Review contracts to identify trends and statistics as well as create reporting regarding rates, increases/decreases by region, materialization, and vendor quotes as well as research rate expectations by region.
  • Work with Contracting team to ensure our contracting goals are being met. Create and analyze data, identify trends and any other projects related to negotiations and contracting as assigned.
  • Assist in destination and competitive research as requested.
  • Collaborate with the Product Development team to resolve issues and make changes.
  • Responsible for completing special projects throughout the year as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Attentive to details and regulations
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Must be able to travel approximately 30 days per year both domestically and internationally
  • Attend Corporate Events as requested
  • Able to maintain vendor relationships and work well with other team members

Starting Annual Salary: $60,000-$80,000

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
