Pond is Hiring a Procurement Specialist Near Peachtree, GA

About The PositionWe are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Preconstruction Team in our Industrial Group located in our Peachtree Corners Office, Atlanta, GA. This successful candidate will be reporting to the Estimating Discipline Director. The Procurement Specialist will focus on all aspects of material, equipment, and contractor procurement management. This role includes facilitating all processes related to the procurement of goods and services for Pond led design and construction projects. The position requires that the potential candidate manages the following responsibilities.
Experience And Qualifications
  • BS in Construction Management , Industrial Engineering, or similar is preferred but not required.
  • Certification in procurement, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred but not required.
  • 5 years of related experience or training or combination of experience and education .
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to perform search functions. Software programs applicable to job type will be required as needed.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Additional InformationMany factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Procurement Specialist with a salary range of $87,100.00 - $135,600.00 .
