Job DetailsResponsibilities
- Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
- Oversee junior accountants and accounting assistants
- Interact with various internal departments and external agencies as needed
- Ensure compliance with all internal processes
- Assist with budget preparation and financial planning processes
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, Master's degree in Accounting preferred
- 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Strong understanding of accounting theory and GAAP
- Highly skilled in math, accounting and financial processes
- Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information
- High level of efficiency and accuracy
- Willingness to comply with all local, state, federal, and company-specific regulations related to financial and ethical matters
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- CPA certification is a plus
- Experience with financial software and systems is a plus
- Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
