Mercer Counseling Services is a small private practice of two clinicians in Pennington, NJ specializing in working with children and adolescents, as well as supporting their families. Services are provided in-person and virtually.

This is a part-time hybrid role for a child/adolescent Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Mercer Counseling Services. The counselor will be responsible for conducting individual therapy sessions, developing treatment plans, managing client cases, as well as having the opportunity to explore other areas of interest you may have such as leading groups or workshops. Therapist may work partially remotely from home, with most being on-site work in Pennington, NJ. As Mercer Counseling Services primarily sees children and teens, after school and/or weekend hours are required. Case load and schedule is flexible from part time to full time.

Qualifications

• Treatment Planning and Case Management skills
• Experience providing therapy to children required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a small team
• Master's degree or higher in Counseling or related field
• Independently licensed (not requiring supervision)
• Must be able to provide out of network services without conflict of insurance contracts
