Our client in Pennsauken, NJ is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team! This is a Direct Hire opportunity, paying $33-35/hour based on experience . The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM.

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations
• Arrange inland (trucking) and ocean freight – Negotiating with different important companies, to ensure the best price and save company money. Arrange product shipment. Ocean freight is imported internationally.
• Ensuring effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Assisting with inbound deliveries where required
• Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
• Improving the operational efficiency of the warehouse operations
• Analyze financial records, plan and follow a budget
• Collaborate effectively with the other branches and purchasing department.
• Communicate regularly with the finance department managing the cost center
• Adhere to high ethical standards, and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
• Implementing operational policies and procedures
• Direct all operations aspects including Distribution Operations, Customer Service, Human Resources, Administration and Sales
• Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
• Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
• Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities and needs
• Maintain files and records of warehouse activities in coordination with the accounting department
• Maintaining awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have 3-5 years of Logistics Coordinator experience
• Available to work extended hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to meet goals and metrics
• Operating forklift/putting away inbound freight is a PLUS
