Responsible for work of routine maintenance to building and grounds where assigned under the direction of, but not limited to, the Director of Maintenance

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

1. Support the philosophy through the agency’s mission, vision, and values.
2. Perform routine maintenance on the building's interior and exterior.
3. Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance with approval from the Director of Maintenance.
4. Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when the next service is due.
5. Work safely and recognize unsafe situations. Take appropriate action to ensure the safety of themselves and others in the building.
6. Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, and others courteously and professionally.

1. Contribute to and maintain a healthy and productive work environment.
2. Report all egregious situations to the Director of Maintenance and/or Management staff.

Marginal Responsibilities

1. As a mandated reporter ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.

Education/Experience Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. 1 – 3 years’ building maintenance experience.
3. An equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Physical Requirements

1. Frequent walking, standing, stooping and kneeling.
2. Regular reaching and grasping.
3. Other physical activities related to an office and outdoor environment.
4. Operates general office equipment, including multi-line phone, fax machine, printer, copier, and personal computer.
