Connor Co., a company rich in history, currently has a Systems Administrator position available at our Corporate office in Peoria, IL. We seek a career-minded person looking for a long-term position with a great company.

Candidates must:

• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug testing.
• Available from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Assist users in troubleshooting day-to-day problems they encounter.

Image and deploy new PCs per our refresh schedule.

Recycle used computer/networking equipment.

Assist users with printing issues.

Assist in network documentation.

Other responsibilities as needed.

Secondary Job Responsibilities:

Manage our Active Directory Domain. Add/remove accounts and troubleshoot any issues.

Manage Windows server infrastructure, including Exchange, file and print service, and WSUS.

Perform routine network maintenance.

Monitor network utilization, including internet usage.

Monitor and maintain network backups.

Troubleshoot network issues. Manage support with MPLS vendor.

Manage our phone system. Update extensions and voicemails, troubleshoot problems, and manage support with our vendor.

Monitor and maintain our virtual machine infrastructure. 

Monitor and maintain our storage network. Manage support cases with the vendor. 

Minimum Education/Experience Required:

High School Diploma or its equivalent

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

Proficiency with Microsoft Desktop operating systems.

Proficiency with typical desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and popular web browsers.

Familiarity with managing Windows Servers in an Active Directory environment.

Willingness to learn Epicor Eclipse.

Familiarity with basic networking concepts.

Able to drive to remote branches on occasion.

Experience with VMWare and Linux is a plus.
