Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the HR department, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compensation and benefits in a non-union, automobile parts manufacturing plant .
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and hiring
- Oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Develop and implement performance management systems to ensure employee productivity and engagement
- Plan development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonus programs, and employee benefits
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and documentation reports, records, policies, and procedures as needed by the company and as required by law.
-Preserves compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Retains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR management
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Knowledge of state and federal laws as they apply to Human Resources
- Ability to interact with associates at all levels of the organization and with a variety of outside individuals, groups, businesses, and agencies
