YOUR NEW ROLE AS AN EARLY CHILDHOOD TEACHING ASSISTANT
You'll work a Monday through Friday schedule between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM.
As an Early Childhood Teaching Assistant at Family Forum, Inc., your dynamic role encompasses actively engaging children in diverse activities, fostering immersive learning experiences, and collaborating with lead teachers to create innovative teaching aids. Utilizing the CLASS tool, you ensure meaningful interactions and contribute to individualization goals, while also overseeing children's skill development, maintaining the classroom environment, and assisting with toileting and sanitation responsibilities. Beyond the classroom, your flexibility shines as you actively contribute to weekly team meetings and occasionally step into substitute teaching roles. Additionally, you demonstrate adaptability by serving as a bus monitor on Head Start school buses. Throughout, your commitment remains unwavering to creating a nurturing environment, celebrating each child's uniqueness, and shaping the future-one child at a time.
REQUIREMENTS
· High School Graduate or General Education Degree. Commercial Driver License with passenger and school bus endorsement.
· At least one year of experience as a licensed driver.
· Ability to use an electronic payroll system
At least 6 months of related experience is highly preferred.
