CyberCoders is Hiring a Traveling Superintendent - Commercial Construction Near Phoenix, AZ
The Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and designers to ensure projects are completed on-time, within budget, and to our high quality standards. Additionally, in this position, we want someone who will put on their toolbelt and actually help out with some of the work. We hire for MEP, but we want someone in this position who knows their way around a toolset.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed project schedules to ensure projects are completed on-time and within budget
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and designers to ensure projects are built according to design specifications and contract documents
- Manage construction projects in the areas of big box, retail, strip malls, auto dealerships, industrial, health care, office buildings, restaurants, and malls
- Monitor progress and ensure quality control standards are met
- Provide on-site supervision of subcontractors and vendors
- Ensure OSHA, safety, and other regulatory standards are followed at all times
- Review project estimates and proposals
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
- 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including design build projects
- Experience with project scheduling and project management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices
