As part of the Subway® Team, you as a General Manager will focus on four main things:
- Supporting operations within two locations
- Training, coaching and supporting employees and managers
- Creating plans and setting business goals for your locations
- Being a team player
Key parts of your day to day will consist of:
- Training employees and managers on all aspects of operational excellence
- Working in locations alongside employees during peak periods
- Developing and maintaining staffing levels
- Producing weekly schedules
- Overseeing weekly ordering and inventory
- Providing leadership to all managers and staff to ensure compliance with operating standards
- Champion staff in efforts to achieve sales, labor, and food cost goals
- Supporting local and national marketing initiatives
As a Subway® General Manager, you will have access to Subway reporting and digital tools to aid in your success.
PREREQUISITES
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: Operational management experience in a restaurant environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Must be an excellent communicator with great interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Basic math and accounting with strong analytical/decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to hire, coach and develop staff. Computer knowledge is essential.
Physical: Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate a Point of Sale system. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
*You will receive training on your roles and responsibilities
Full Time position that may require evening and weekend availability.
