Job Summary
- Plan and implement scheduled activities assigned that assists in maintaining each resident’s highest functioning level dealing with physical, spiritual and mental well-being aspects.
- Follow the individual plan of care for each resident as assigned and maintain documentation of the same.
- Maintain equipment, inventory and department area.
- Attend in-service training and workshops as assigned to become aware of new developments in the field.
- Provide activity of daily living and care to residents.
- Performs restorative and rehabilitative services as directed.
- Complete appropriate documentation as needed.
Education and Training :
- A minimum of high school education or GED required.
- Experience in the field of gerontology is preferred by not necessary.
- Ability to read, write and follow oral / written directions.
- CNA certificate required within 4 months of hire.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday, 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm; 72hrs / 2wks
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.00 - $20.50 per hour
