Who we are: Founded in 1991,our team of Medical Coordinators guide our supporters through challenging medical issues, forging close personal relationships and ensuring access to the best possible care. We handle over 5,000 medical requests each year and as a nonprofit, we donate to clinical care and support medical research, advancing medicine for all.

What you will do: As an Intake Specialist for Healthnetwork Foundation, you are the first point of contact for our supporters and care professionals. You provide exemplary customer service while gathering clinical, demographic and other information essential information for medical requests. You work collaboratively with a Medical Coordinator team to anticipate member needs and exceed expectations. You foster an atmosphere of open collaboration and constructive dialogue within our team environment.

To perform this job successfully, you must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Be kind, with an engaging personality. Your documentation and follow-up skills must be top notch. You should love working in a fast-paced ‘on it’ environment and know how to pivot to provide exemplary customer service.

Qualifications:

• Professional phone presence; kind engaging demeanor and active listening skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
• Tech: Proficiency in 365 (MS Office) and CRM (database) experience
• Possess a philanthropic mindset

Salary Range:  $60,000-$65,000

This position is Monday-Friday during regular business hours in a team office setting. This is an exempt position.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, you may occasionally be required to bend or stoop, and you may occasionally be required to lift objects up to 10 pounds. Work will be performed sitting at a desk in an open office setting using office machines such as a copier and fax machine, and a computer, and phone.
