Duties to include:
- Conduct verbatim, scripted telephone interviews in a way that is clear and easy to understand.
- Clarify and probe for answers, when appropriate, and answer questions from respondents using scripted responses.
- Listen attentively and respond appropriately to respondents but maintain a neutral and unbiased position.
- Accurately document the results of the telephone interview using computerized interviewing software.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a courteous customer service approach to the people you speak with.
- Very strong typing, listening, and reading skills required.
- Ability to exercise extreme patience, professionalism, self-control, and good judgment when dealing with respondents
- Previous call center or telephone-based work experience is preferred, but not required.
- Some evenings and weekends may be required.
- Position requires long periods of sitting, typing, and heavy outbound telephone time.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
