We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for an insurance industry in Plantation, Florida. The role primarily focuses on processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities:• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently• Maintain accurate customer credit records• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments• Perform data entry and administrative duties as required• Assist with the processing of cancellations and posting payments to member accounts• Maintain spreadsheets of all sales, cancellations, postings, and initial ACH and credit card declines• Process applications that are unable to be processed through the b2c sales team• Utilize Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for various tasks• Assist in preparing for commissions twice a month• Reconcile accounts, handle accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoice processing.
