The role involves working within the public tax sector, supervising a team and overseeing tax return preparation. As part of a dynamic team, you will contribute to the growth of the firm by applying your experience in public accounting and your skills in using various accounting software systems.Responsibilities:• Supervise a team and provide guidance in matters related to tax and accounting• Prepare and review tax returns ranging from simple to complex• Work with clients from various industries such as construction, professional services, real estate, retail, and wholesale distribution• Maintain and update customer credit records• Communicate effectively both orally and in writing with clients and tax authorities• Utilize your skills in various accounting software systems such as CCH Suite, QuickBooks, and MSOFT Suite, among others• Conduct research and draft memorandums on tax matters• Identify tax planning opportunities and make recommendations• Train team members as needed to ensure the maintenance of high-quality service• Oversee tasks and supervise the work of the team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
