Front Desk Receptionist

Overview:
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our office, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and direct phone calls with proper phone etiquette
- Manage the front desk area and ensure it is tidy and presentable
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars

- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits and collect copayments for office visits
- Coordinate with medical staff for patient appointments as needed
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of insurance eligibility and benefits required
- Proficient in office management software (e.g., MS Office)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
