SHIFT: 1st Shift
We are looking for a Windows Business and Client Support Analyst. The role of the Windows Business and Client Support Analyst (BCSA) is pivotal in addressing advanced computer security issues with a specialized set of skills. The individual will undertake the management of projects ranging from small to significant in scale, aimed at addressing vulnerabilities in the laptop and desktop environments. Regular collaboration with the ITS Security team for task assignments and updates is expected. Furthermore, the BCSA will contribute to the Business Support team, providing technical support related to the hardware and software setups.
Main Responsibilities
  • Design client security measures for swift identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues to reduce business operation disruptions.
  • Serve as the primary contact for escalating security issue tickets on client systems.
  • Offer Level 3 desktop support for complex technical issues.
  • Spearhead and execute projects of various scales, including planning, implementation, and reporting. Engage in cross-departmental teams to devise plans for security vulnerability mitigation.
  • Approach problem-solving with creativity and thoroughness.
  • Formulate strategies and procedures for quick and effective resolution of technical and security issues on client systems.
  • Generate detailed reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis for leadership review.
  • Regularly assess and enhance the security procedures for client technology.
  • Optimize Business Support operations related to handling and resolving security issues.
  • Ensure all work products are of high quality and detailed.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supporting, developing, and maintaining Windows client operating systems within corporate settings.
  • Knowledgeable in SCCM for client system patch deployment.
  • At least 2 years' experience in designing and implementing Windows client system security solutions.
  • Deep understanding of configuring Windows client images to ensure secure, reliable, and stable corporate computing environments.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, aligned with departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Commitment to understanding and meeting the needs and expectations of both internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to uncover and address hidden issues through rigorous analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed performance goals consistently.
  • Proficiency in building rapport and effective relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Skilled negotiator capable of achieving results while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent written communication, able to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven capability to communicate effectively across all IT functions.
