HeliService USA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Part-Time Human Resources Specialist to support our helicopter operations in offshore windfarm construction, operations, and maintenance. This role will involve approximately 20 hours of work per week and will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and HR functions.
This is an in-person position.
Onboarding process
· Support in setting up employee’s company credentials.
· Conduct background and drug testing checks where needed.
HR Administration
· Manage employee records, including personnel files and documentation.
· Support payroll processes and assist in benefits administration.
· Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
· Post job openings, review resumes, and conduct initial candidate screenings.
Compliance and Regulations:
· Stay updated on aviation industry regulations and ensure HR practices align with industry standards.
· Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and aviation-specific regulations.
Administrative tasks:
· Manage and check documentation for employee expense reimbursement.
· Support in accounting or administrative related tasks where needed.
Qualifications
Required:
· Proven experience in HR roles, preferably in the aviation or aerospace industry.
· Strong knowledge of employment laws (preferably RI and MA), regulations, and industry-specific compliance requirements.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
· Experience with HR software, preferably ADP.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
· Experience with helicopter operations.
· Candidate should live within an hour's commute of our Quonset, RI base.
Schedule
· This is a part-time position, with flexible hours.
· Preferred in person, with flexibility of working admin work remotely.
