Are you passionate about leading dynamic teams and driving innovation? We're looking for an Application Services Manager to join our thriving team in Deerfield Beach, FL. In this hands-on role, you'll manage the full lifecycle of system development and implementation, playing a pivotal part in our technology department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire our technical team while fostering collaboration across all technology areas.
- Conduct annual and semiannual reviews to support staff professional development.
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee the technical design, development, and implementation of applications.
- Act as a liaison between business customers, IT teams, vendors, and internal enterprise units.
- Identify and apply new technologies to enhance existing capabilities.
- Play a key role in budget planning to ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
- Stay up-to-date on technical advances and industry trends through continuous learning and engagement with system vendors.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Application Development with expertise in web technologies.
- Extensive experience in database systems, data modeling, and SQL.
- Proven leadership experience with at least 5 years managing or leading staff.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-centric mindset focused on delivering exceptional user experiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
- Desire and aptitude to learn and integrate new technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline required; graduate degree preferred.
