PSC Group, Human Resources is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic Near Port Allen, LA
Port Allen, LA
Work Schedule: 12 hour rotating shifts days and nights
Pay Range: Starting at $29.00 an hour with opportunity for advancement
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues
- Diagnose and repair technology issues in trucks and forklifts
- Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines, brakes, transmission, and other systems
- Reads and interprets instructions and documentation and plans work activities
- Job responsibilities include performing regular inspections of machinery and equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance, and fulfilling other duties such as building maintenance as assigned.
- Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment. .
- 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
- Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
- Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
