Job DescriptionAre you passionate about empowering young learners through collaborative, developmentally appropriate and data-driven instruction? Do you thrive on creating engaging learning environments where every student can succeed? We're seeking a dynamic third grade teacher to join our team!Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Collaborative Learning Activities: Develop and implement innovative, student-centered activities that foster collaboration and teamwork among elementary students. Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to promote active engagement and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Utilize Technology Tools: Integrate technology tools and platforms to facilitate collaboration and collect data on student interactions. Leverage digital resources such as Google Classroom, online learning resources, and collaborative whiteboards to enhance learning, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Monitor and Assess Student Learning: Observe and assess students' leraning efforts during group activities and projects. Collect data on students' mastery and growth. Use qualitative observations and assessment to provide targeted feedback.
  • Collaborate and Analyze Data: Work in PLCs that include grade level team, special education teachers and intervention teachers to assess data: identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to adjust instructional strategies and support individual student needs. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance collaboration across grade levels.
  • Promote Positive Classroom Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where students feel valued, respected, and empowered to participate. Establish clear expectations for learning and collaboration; provide opportunities for students to reflect on their growth and mastery.
  • Professional Development and Growth: Stay current with research and best practices in collaboration data classroom management. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise in fostering collaboration and utilizing data to inform instruction.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Valid teaching license or certification
  • Proven experience teaching elementary students in a collaborative learning environment
  • Strong understanding of collaboration data classroom management principles and strategies
  • Proficiency in utilizing technology tools for instruction and data collection
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with colleagues
