Primary Responsibilities:
As the Western Regional Sales Manager, you will lead and drive sales initiatives within your designated territory. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategic plans, communicate expectations, and drive accountability to maximize revenue and market share of our Gastite and Python products across various channels and customer segments.
· Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to drive revenue growth in the West Region through independent rep agencies.
· Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, including independent sales representatives, account managers, and regional sales managers, to achieve individual and team targets.
· Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for expansion, threats, and the West Region's competitive landscape.
· Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
· Sales Performance Management: Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure achievement of sales goals.
· Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
· Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the West Region and ensure adherence to financial targets.
· Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.
· Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all sales activities.
· Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.
Skills Required:
· Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably in the West Region.
· Experience with 2 step HVAC and Plumbing distribution
· CSST gas products knowledge preferred
· Strong understanding of sales principles, techniques, and practices.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions.
· Experience in managing and motivating a geographically dispersed sales team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
· Willingness to travel within the West Region and occasionally nationally as required.
Education & Experience required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
· 10 years of previous sales or customer service experience
