Envision Supported Employment is Hiring an Employment Specialist Near Provo, UT

As a Job Coach/Job Developer, you will be helping people with disabilities in our community who need workplace assistance. This is a very rewarding position where you make a difference every single day. We are looking for someone who can work independently and with little direct supervision. Effectively manage their time throughout the day and week. Able to work a flexible schedule. Motivated to meet the needs of the clients and employers. Has a client-first mentality! Is honest, motivated, hardworking, communicative, problem solver, and desires to help others. We want you for the long haul. We are asking for a minimum of a one-year commitment to the position.

You will:

  • Form a special relationship and bond with your client.
  • Coach clients on basic life and job skills to succeed in the workplace.
  • Help them build a resume, teach interviewing skills, and assist with the hiring process.
  • Support client on the job, providing various support and guidance with their job duties.
  • You will work with your client to develop their life and employment skills to lead them towards independence and being their own self-advocate while at work.
  • Work closely with employers and worksite co-workers to develop strong natural supports outside of the job coach.
  • You help them enhance their strengths and improve their working skills, including knowledge and confidence to succeed in the workplace.
  • Ultimately, you will watch them successfully grow, shine, and become successful!

ACRE Certification is required for this position.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.50 per hour
