Position Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, with a primary focus on driving sales and leading the sales associates. This role involves managing the store's design center, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining the store’s social media presence. This Store Manager will play a key role in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership

  • Lead, motivate, and coach sales associates to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase store revenue.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular feedback and training to the sales team.

Customer Service and Design Center

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and expert product knowledge.
  • Oversee the design center operations, assisting customers with furniture and mattress selections to meet their design preferences and needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and effectively.

Store Operations

  • Manage day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Social Media Management

  • Engage with customers on Facebook Marketplace to drive additional sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance the store's social media presence on Facebook and Instagram.
  • Create and schedule engaging content, including photos, videos, and posts, to promote store products and events.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

Facebook Marketplace Management

  • Post products on Facebook Marketplace to drive additional sales.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and negotiate sales on Facebook Marketplace.
  • Track and report on marketplace sales performance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in retail management, preferably in the furniture or home furnishings industry.
  • Proficiency in design and inventory software.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram.
  • Experience with Facebook Marketplace is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
