As a Plant Controller, you will be responsible for the company’s financial plans, policies, accounting practices, and relationships with lending institutions and the financial community. · Assign, instruct and direct the administration staff towards satisfactory completion of work

· Work closely with other department groups on problems involving accounting systems and financial planning

· Develop, analyse, and interpret statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results regarding profitability, performance against budget, and other matters

· Participate as requested by the General Manager in the preparation of business plans

· Keep management informed of all current activities through analysis and various reports

To apply for this Plant Controller role, you will need a Bachelor’s degree or a commensurate combination of experience and education. You will also require 5 years of experience in a controllership and a background in a standard cost-based manufacturing environment and must come from an automotive manufacturing background. Additional requirements include:

· Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including interpersonal skills

· Ability to successfully multi-task under tight deadlines and changing priorities

· Knowledge and understanding of most current GAAP standards

· Advanced computer skills in MS Office products, emphasising Word and Excel

· Familiarity with ADP PC Payroll, Report Smith and E-Time
