Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Patient Transporter to join our healthcare team. The Patient Transporter will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting patients within the group homes .
Duties:
- Safely transport patients to and from various areas within Racine
- Assist patients in and out of beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during transportation
- Communicate effectively with nursing and medical staff regarding patient needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment
Experience:
- Experience in a caregiving
- Knowledge of patient care practices
- Familiarity with basic life support procedures
- Experience in critical care transport is a plus
- Ability to provide care for patients in home or community settings
