- Master’s Degree and 10 years of experience
- Bachelor’s Degree and 12 years of experience
- DOD Secret Clearance
- CompTIA Security
- Computing Environment (CE) Certification Professional Level or higher (i.e., Cisco
- CCNP, Cisco CCNP Datacenter, Juniper, Palo Alto, F5 etc.)
- 5 years of Network Engineering
- 5 years of configuring and maintaining switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers and network management tools
- Experience with network management, analysis and troubleshooting tools
- Experience with Data Center Management
- Experience in implementing and maintaining security management strategies. (DISA STIGs experience preferred but not required)
- Experience with development of project documentation to include standard operating procedures, project plans, and network diagrams
- 5 years of switch management experience
- Experience with the Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, and 2K) line and Cisco Catalyst line
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls
- Experience with Cisco ACI
- Experience with F5 load balancers
- Network management/analysis/troubleshooting
- Developing and maintaining local operating procedures and policies
- Developing and maintaining network automation and scripts
- Monitoring the ongoing operation of the network
