Robert Half is recruiting a Senior Staff Accountant to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will play a significant role in the day-to-day operations. You will work collaboratively with a team of professionals, effectively executing various aspects of the daily internal accounting process. The company offers excellent benefits including 5 weeks’ vacation, 1/2-day Friday during the summer and 401K with match.

The position is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2days per week in the Raleigh office.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the month-end close process.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

Code invoices and oversee accounts payables processes.

Reconcile cash disbursements and manage accounts receivable collections.

Provide assistance to outside auditors; gather necessary documents and account information to perform annual 401k audit.

Assist in filing various tax payments and property tax forms to state and local agencies.

Ensure accurate and timely processing of semi-monthly payroll.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

4 years’ experience including month end close.

Excel skills needed including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups.
