Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in sourcing electronic components. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, developing strategic sourcing strategies, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality components.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for electronic components.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure the best pricing and quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand component requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage the procurement process, including purchase orders, inventory control, and cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze and report on procurement metrics and performance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically in sourcing electronic components.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of electronic components and the electronics supply chain.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in procurement (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP).
  • Experience with global sourcing and international suppliers.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH).
