CTG - Crestwood Technology Group is Hiring a Logistics Associate Near Randolph, NJ
- Strong experience with Microsoft Applications, including knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
- Prepares shipments for postal or commercial conveyance; determines most economical and efficient shipping method; selects appropriate shipping container; packs items to ensure safe delivery.
- Prepares bills of lading; checks items to be shipped against picking tickets to ascertain that quantities, destination, and routing are correct.
- Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information to receiving reports to verify priority; may process return shipments from customers.
- Packages, labels, insure, and/or logs inventory which is shipped or received.
- Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel.
- Package items for safe delivery to customers.
- Check for special customer requirements for shipping.
- Organize materials in shipping area.
- Assist with receipt of incoming shipments.
- Be able to pack and ship Hazmat material, including Haz Shipper software.
- Comply with all requirements of the environmental management system.
