This role can be based remotely.

Primary Purpose: 

If you’re ready to build real-world experience while applying what you’ve learned so far related to the various functional areas of Information Technology, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Accepts and leads designated IT projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project(s) during the internship
• Provides day to day support across various areas of IT (ie, Metrics, Risk Assessment, Data Analysis, Compliance, IT Policies and Governance, etc) for day to day needs and activities. Examples include risk assessment, process flow development, report preparation, information security research and updating remediation actions, etc.
• Engages with internal departments to carry out day to day responsibilities
• Takes a lead role in the coordination of assigned IT project activities and serves as a point person for coordination of remediation plan tracking.
• Provides suggestions and develops solutions for improving internal processes
• Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems
• Gains exposure and has the opportunity to understand the overall concept of the company, including the business model, customer, goals, etc.

Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:

• An undergraduate with a focus in Computer Systems, Data Analytics or Cyber Security preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and written communication
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
