TemPositions is proud to partner with a government agency in Richmond, CA, and is actively seeking a highly skilled Risk Manager for a contract role lasting at least 6 months. This pivotal position plays a crucial role in operations and offers competitive pay between $50 and $70 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee comprehensive risk management and benefits programs.
- Manage Workers' Compensation, liability, and employee benefits.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure ADA compliance.
- Develop and manage risk management training programs.
- Negotiate insurance policies and broker fees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration or related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience, with 4 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of risk management principles and claims management.
- Valid California Driver's License and ARM accreditation preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Typical office environment; occasional site visits and meetings.
