CyberCoders is Hiring a Construction Estimator Near Richmond, VA
We are one of the fastest growing construction firms in Central VA that services commercial, residential, and multi-family projects. Due to substantial growth within our organization, we are in immediate need of hiring a motivated and experienced commercial construction estimator.
Position Overview: We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator who has a thorough understanding of the commercial construction industry and experience in the construction estimating process. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commercial construction estimation process and ensuring that the budgets of projects are accurately calculated.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the commercial construction estimation process from beginning to end.
- Analyze project documents such as blueprints and specifications in order to generate accurate construction estimates.
- Examine contracts, project bids and other documentation in order to generate comprehensive reports.
- Engage in the negotiation of contracts and terms with subcontractors and vendors.
- Research and analyze market pricing to ensure that the bids are competitive and accurate.
- Monitor progress and adjust estimates accordingly.
- Maintain and create relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Plan Swift and/or RS Means.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
