Kennondale Capital Management is Hiring a Financial Analyst Near Richmond, VA
Kennondale Capital Management is looking for a full-time Analyst. The firm currently manages approximately $70 million in public equity strategies via separate accounts. The Analyst will be primarily responsible for working with the Portfolio Manager. For the right candidate, this position could advance into a portfolio management role in time.
We are based in Richmond, Virginia. This is a hybrid position (WFH and office). While candidates would not be required to re-locate to Richmond, they would need to be able to commit to spending time in our Richmond office as needed and as the firm grows. While we prefer candidates located in the Virginia area, our primary focus is on finding an individual with the right mix of skills. There is flexibility for the right candidate.
General Description and Candidate Characteristics:
- Assisting with research and analysis of existing and prospective investments
- Creating reports on performance, risk characteristics, exposures, and holdings analysis of the portfolios
- Providing general support to team members on various projects
- 0-5 years of prior work experience in a finance or investment-related field
- Undergraduate degree, with significant coursework in finance or accounting is a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, writing, presentation, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated progress toward becoming a CFA charterholder or willingness to earn the designation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is necessary
- Knowledge of FactSet is a plus
Compensation: $70,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications
