Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking a UX Designer/Generalist for a large financial client in Kennesaw, GA, Richmond, VA or Chicago, IL. This person could be working on multiple projects where they are acting as a XO - experience owner on the strategy side, as well as a VID, more on the interaction design side. The UX designer should have a strong background of understanding when to include the research team, the strategy behind a vision and a specific roadmap, as well as a deep knowledge of the ins and outs of a design system. The team is currently utilizing Jira and will start using Figma by the end of the year. This person will be supporting an internal onboarding portal for new hires. This includes building the app in order to streamline the onboarding process and create a better new hire experience. This tool will also include the necessary compliance training and hardware/software set ups necessary for a new employee. Another project this person will be tied to is helping to either replace the clients current career center vendor with a new vendor or building a new internal program altogether.

You will lead the overall strategic plan for the program in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Collaborate with experience design teammates, project stakeholders, technology partners, and executive leadership to identify requirements, set design goals, study users, and craft solutions that translate business and user needs into highly engaging experiences. Promote value innovation through proactive designs that reflect, maintain, and contribute to our design principles and practices. Be the primary escalation point of contact for all projects within the program. Meet regularly with the program group to ensure adherence to the design process, open dialog, peer support, project fluidity & continuity. Communicate project updates to the portfolio strategy manager and senior leadership. Work cross functionally with leads who support other programs, identifying opportunity for reusability, consistency, connection, and proactive design. Support the portfolio strategy manager in visualization exercises and workshops.
